I keep thinking twice before I post now. I think of the topics I want to write about and the consequences that might occur if I post about anything.
I do believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However, some people just can’t take other peoples opinion. To top that, they would even make you feel like a low life or something. although I stick to my opinions, sometimes I just have to live with it. Anyway I shouldn’t really care about this, i respect other peoples opinions and should stick to mine.

I thought when someone gets married he would be faithful and that he is happy he did the right thing. However, I have seen the opposite when I talk to married men. I noticed that there is more cheaters than faithful ones. I do not care what they do , it is their life after all. I am just wondering why would someone go through all the marriage stuff to end up cheating? on top of that they would say they are in love with their wives!
See our society gives mixed thoughts about marriage:
1- Marriage to keep you from sinning – I doubt marriage will keep you from sinning. I believe sinning occurs when you are not strong enough to hold back.
2- Marriage to build a family – Yes who doesn’t want to see his kids grow and see them get married one day? but is marriage only about kids and to keep the family name?
3- Marriage for love- I agree 100% on this type of marriage. I believe the couple have to be 100% in love before they get married.
4- Forced Marriage- Unfortunately, our society still has a huge amount of people who force their daughters and sons to get married.
Of course after you get married the people around you would change who you are towards your wife. They keep joking on who has “control” over the other. Again something that just can’t stop. For example, the wedding ring. I wear my wedding ring all the time and people would just make a fuss about it like how my wife just “makes” me wear it, but actually I am proud to wear it. I am proud I am married and I am proud of my wife. Notice how many married men do not wear their wedding rings and ask yourself why.
Another thing, when people say oh married men can’t have fun “like traveling”. First, if I had an opportunity to travel my first choice would be with my wife. I barely travel due to many reasons, and if the time comes I’d rather spend it with my wife. Now some guys would say, “oh please your wife won’t let you” or “Your married you won’t be fun”. I don’t know but who said being married makes your life end?
Married life is not the end of the road, but its the beginning of a new road that could be a much easier ride.
Well one of the Islamic MP’s who does not stand up for the national anthem yet represents Kuwait has been making a big fuss in the past few days.
He wants to stop swim suits, early closing of Shisha places and talk about the veil and neqab.
1- Swim suits – if you do not want to see them then do not go to places where there are these stuff.
2- Shisha places – you are kidding me right? close at 12? you think there is many other things to do after 12? no wait you think that closing shisha places at 12 will stop anything wrong from happening? you think that there is not chalets, apartments,villas and farms all around Kuwait full of parties, drugs, alcohol and prostitution?
3- Veil and Neqab – Do not tell me that a girl who is veiled or wearing a neqab does not get harassed. Sorry but a reality check, they do. some guys just do not care if they are wearing a veil or not they are woman and they will harass them. also not every veiled girl means she is an angel and will not do anything bad. Trust me, I know.
The problem is not with him really, the problem is with the people who made him reach the parliament. Kuwait has many other problems and some MPs only care about the minor stuff. Look at our hospitals, look at our education system, look at our sewage systems and tell me you do not see anything wrong there. I do not htink we need a parliament if the MPs are just there for nothing.
Most of Kuwait is Muslim, Most of us have brains and am sure many of us know the do’s and dont’s from our Religion. I will not tolerate someone to control my life.
The above did not happen except for our beloved Press. Yes the newspapers. These newspapers who think that publishing about parties and club like places will make them trustworthy. I bet you there are many people who work in these newspapers go to these places in Kuwait.
Its sad to know that even our press helps in making a fuss in the country when we do not need it.
I always knew that Kuwait University is the worst university anyone can think of for many reasons. However 2 reasons come to mind
1- The tutors control everything:
Yup the professors in Kuwait university have FULL control of their students and who fails/passes. some people will pass just for the matter of fact the name of the student (or the relation). Others will pass only because they look nice (you know what I mean).
This is totally opposite of what happens in Europe and the USA. Universities their make sure that the professor does not have any prejudice towards anyone, he/she will teach all the students equally and when it comes to names during the exams it will be covered and blind marked.
2- Bad system
My wife has only 3 classes to graduate. However due to the bad system of Kuwait University they have scheduled two of these at the same time and dates! My wife tried to take on of them without attending with the professors approval but both of them did not help whatsoever.
Now my wife is stuck in that place for an entire semester just for one class !!!
Yes People….Nowadays it seems that every one from the ages 12 and above is a cook….these small businesses are killing me here…..
I receive message after message regarding new people who sell their cooking (especially the Desserts)….Seriously..I noticed some new weird creations…its like lets go into the kitchen…put anything on a cake…and we create DESSERT….
I just received one of the small businesses that makes desserts….and the dessert consists of “mini” cupcakes topped with Arabic sweets….Ok..it might taste good…it might not…bs ya nas..ya 3alaaaaaaam…..when you make a dessert with anything you find in the kitchen….thats just called “3ak”…..
Lets talk about another industry…..the BB fashion design…yes…It seems the BB has made people get out their vision in covering up those BB behinds….have you seen how many people create and sell BB covers??? BB COVERS…..the irony….
La and now we have our own Louis Vuitton here…..every girl thinks she is a fashion designer and sells her “outbreaks” …. And the stuff I’ve seen was scary…Wouldn’t even wear it in Halloween…
La…and the people who buy clothes, accessories and food from abroad and sell them in Kuwait with very very high prices…as if they bothered themselves stitching those clothes….
I love creativity…..I support creative people….but…buuuuut….not everyone can do this…yes there are many creative people out there…and they should be supported 100%…
But the people who are trying the “get rich quick” schemes are increasing rapidly…and its hard to control…and unfortunately…some people help those small businesses…they create an exhibition….get a few sponsors here and there…and they “sell” the booth areas for small businesses….and get out with the profit……
Ladies…And gents…go ahead and use your talent…sell your food…sell your creations…sell your exported goods….but please…make sure that you do not sell stuff that is not worth it…or by selling it with very high prices…because that’s not business…that’s just running after money….
Our society makes us judge whether we like it or not. We judge whether we are with it or against it.
How many times do we say something a against a foreign driver? or an Arabic expat?
How many times do we talk about a an actor, host, singer or someone famous?
How many times do we talk about girls with the alien head?
How many times do we call someone a “3gaidy”?
How many times did you call someone religious as old minded?
See…we usually judge we don’t like….and praise what we like…As a society…we seem to see ourselves as higher entity that rules over anyone else…yet we are nothing but humans with different minds…
For Example…I don’t usually like talking “bad” against atheists who are against my religion but I do because some do not respect me anyway…this is what leads us to just being ignorant towards others…
Sometimes our traditions set us to be against certain people….although some people blame traditions on Islam…traditions do not come from Islam but from older generations…If we seek different traditions around the world…we will notice weird ones…well weird from our side…but from their side it will be perfectly normal…..
Judging someone by religion, race, age, gender or even clothes is bad for someones health…because at the same time..the judge can be judged in a negative way….

Not because she is a woman but because she is a heartless KILLER.
She did not have the right to kill all this woman because her husband left her. whether he was abusive or not. The marriage is over and he had the right to go and get married if he wanted too.

We all heard about the sad news that took the life of 40 individuals in one tragedy.
Kuwait….the country we love…that moves in the opposite direction to the world.
The problem here is that we do not solve anything until a tragedy occurs. Kuwait Airways will never be cleaned up until a tragedy happens. Who needs safety huh?
People going to celebrate the marriage of loved ones. In an atmosphere that should have been full of happiness i ruined because safety regulations are not being done and checked on celebration spots.
Do we keep our mouth shut without talking? just wait till the next tragedy? Some people have private jets, travel in other more expensive airways, have parties done in places your sure nothing is going to burn. Yet other people, have to live with the other crap everyday and try to enjoy themselves hoping nothing is going to go wrong.
Yup….and we still move backwards.

Our mind is unique to each one of use. Its like our internal finger print that is stuck with us forever. Imagine 6 Billion different mind around the world not thinking alike. Maybe there are some similarities like liking the same food or drink or location yet they differe in other stuff like personality.
Now recently Extremism has been linked to the lil old Muslims thanks to some Muslims who went and killed innocent people around the world.
What funny is that Muslims now have one stereotype that if is found on a white person it woun’t be considered “racist” for example the beard. Imagine a white person with a beard? Or a Christian priest? Maybe a Jew? yup these people will never be stopped in certain places around the world.
Hey I do not blame anyone really. If I am going to blame, I will blame ourselves for judging 1.5 Billion Muslims thanks to a minority.
People forget that extremism is found in different type of groups, for example:
A while back Miss California who was labeled a “hater” because she thought that marriage should be between a Man and a Woman. The gay and lesbian community around the world made a big fuss because Miss California stated her mind. Whether being gay is right or wrong each person has his own prospective about this issue. If I do not believe in homosexuality it should not be considered a “hater” or “homo-phoebe” its just a persons opinion / belief. isn’t this extreme?
Another example is the holocaust believers and deniers. If someone denies the holocaust or at least talks about it in a negative way in Europe or the United states they would be jailed. Yet hurting Muslims with cartoons about one of the most beloved entities to them is freedom of speech. isn’t this extreme?
Mormons believe that the black people of the world will be in Heaven As slaves.
As I said, Extremism has been labeled to the Muslims and no one else.
this post was made after I watched a debate between an Islamic scholar and Sayed Qemani. Everyone attacked the Islamic figure as an extremist because he wanted to remove the award given to Sayed Qemani. If the law gives me thr right to protest an award, then no one has the right to call him an extremists. He was defending his believes and that is his right. Same says homosexuals, blacks, women, liberals and secualrs all try to defend their believes.
Extremism is no just killing innocent people. Extremism is Attacking the others for their thoughts.
I always said that we live in a country that has its own world. Technology here does not progress except when it comes to fashion or chatting. Other than that we do not care about anything else.
I am an iPhone owner and I did not do it for the “coolness” but because the iPhone provide everything I need. Chatting is not something I need. My iPhone provides me with the ability to read my work and personal emails through their application. It has many amazing applications to help you in your day to day life, and also it has some games which I usually play with my wife and friends. It also has chatting applications but I stopped using MSN and all the chat applications 2 years ago.
Now, Kuwaitis have this thing when it comes to “free” chat and fashion and I really did not know that blackberry was made for fashion. Hanging your blackberry around your neck with classy cases does not make you ALL that. what is makes you is someone who is trying to show off something that approx half of has it.
Also just a few days back one guy told me that he BB-pined a girl. BB-PINED A GIRL. seriously?? SERIOUSLY? So now instead of using your mobile number to “hook up” it is using bb pin? I read once in an article from the UK how people used their “bluetooth” to hook up in the gulf region. Remember that period? imagine when they kow about the blackberry hooking up.
Although up to date stats show that blackberry sold approx 29 Million handsets and the iPhone sold up to 22 Million. I believe this is due to many restrictions from Apple (hope you see it Steve) on their iPhone. Out of those 29 Million I think that 80% are used for business and the others for “hooking up”.
Well I hope one of the three operators in Kuwait start selling hte iPhone because many people are taking advantage of the situation and selling the new 3GS model for 380 KD and that is only the 16GB !!
I am starting all over again in this blog.
After my last post in Seychelles in our Honeymoon/Anniversary. I was too busy to start blogging again. Now after all this time, Spiked Q80 Rants is back with a new feel and a new page.
I have many stuff I would love to talk about so hopefully you will see it all soon. Also you can see that I changed from Blogger to WordPress, I love their stat option.
As for Spiked Bamby, this is still in the process so hopefully it will be open sometime in the future.
